The little article Libelle Lekker published has put me to work. I have had quite some Belgian orders lately. And that's a good thing, of course.
Also because I'm learning Belgian words I had never heard of before. For example their word for onions is not quite the same as ours. I actually had to google it and just in case I sent an extra email to the customer to ask if I was drawing the correct ingredients. I'm not only learning new recipes, but also a new language...
I needed new vintage paper as well, because you run out of these things and you can't just buy them anywhere. I went on a dusty search for some old books in secondhand shops. I found a couple of them with the right size empty and discolored pages to take out and make my artwork on.
